Childhood Cancer Campaign
"Providing the Care ... Finding the Cure"

While large organizations donate millions to research and large programs, our goal is to raise funds to help alleviate the angst of children with cancer, their families, and the people that provide services to these children and their families in Michigan. We want to do this by supporting children's cancer camps and bravery bead programs. We also want to make donations of beanie babies, iTunes cards, and gift cards for families to use, "The New Normal" DVDs, and reflection books to the children and their families. In addition, any Michigan District Optimist Club supporting childhood cancer activity can receive financial assistance from the "New" Michigan District Childhood Cancer Campaign Grant Program.
To help raise funds for the Michigan Optimist Childhood Cancer Campaign Grant Program, we are asking each Optimist Club, business, or interested group in Michigan to form a team of its members and ask each member to solicit funds from their friends, neighbors, relatives, co workers, and other organizations they belong to for the" Walk for Childhood Cancer" in June 2018.
